Safe disposal of acids and alkalis

We offer our systems for use in appropriate underbench units for the disposal of liquid and solid substances. The underbench units for waste disposal are equipped as standard with safety trays to hold suitable canisters – for convenient canister exchange. Acids, alkalis and flammable liquids can be disposed of through screw-fixed safety funnels directly into canisters or through funnels integrated in the worktop of the fume hoods.

Safety is top priority

Mechanical or electrical level indicators and appropriate ventilation equipment ensure that the temporary storage and disposal of acids and alkali is safe.

Supply and disposal systems

Appropriate safety cabinets connected to a permanent extract air systems are used for the cyclic and continuous supply of flammable liquids.

  • Safe storage and provision of flammable liquids in the workplace according to EN 14470-1 (Type 90) and TRGS 510 (Appendix L)
  • Safe transfer of flammable liquids from drums to small containers
  • Cyclic supply or continuous supply with automatic drum switchover is available
  • Safe temporary storage of residual amounts of acids and alkalis
  • Filling through a funnel in the underbench unit or through a funnel in the internal workspace

 

  • Safe temporary storage of residual amounts of flammable liquids according to EN 14470-1 (Type 90) and TRGS 510 (Appendix L)
  • Filling through a funnel in the underbench unit or through a funnel in the internal workspace
  • Disposal for HPLC equipment
  • Disposal of residual solids or garbage, no permanent storage
  • Waste bin with full-height drawer or swivel door

 

  • Safe disposal of low-level radioactive waste
  • Filling through a funnel in the underbench unit (with mechanical level indicator)
