Rügenwalder Mühle is one of Germany's best-known food manufacturers and the market leader in vegetarian and vegan products. In addition to its successful plant-based range, the company continues to produce meat-based cold cuts and spreads. Rügenwalder has relied on Waldner's expertise for many years to optimise the filling processes for its spreads.
The project focused on integrating high-performance WALDNER longitudinal fillers, which make the filling of spreads more precise and efficient. The close, long-standing cooperation formed the basis for a technical solution that is precisely tailored to the customer's production requirements.
The special cup shape presented a particular challenge: to ensure reliable, reproducible filling, the system was specially developed and adapted to this format. The result is a perfectly coordinated system that integrates seamlessly into existing processes.
Rügenwalder has relied on WALDNER's in-depth expertise in special machine construction for filling, sealing and packaging systems for many years. Close coordination and joint solution development have resulted in a system that impresses with its functionality, precision and flexibility – and impressively confirms customer satisfaction.
The integrated plant complex for Unilever in Auerbach – housed over two floors in an existing factory building – also demonstrates how filling and final packaging can be combined to form a turnkey line.
