The Dimensions ceiling grid offers a special support structure that allows for variable room division and flexible room layout. A special fastening technique ensures that all technical room installations can be accommodated: ventilation, plumbing, lighting, electrical, and additional components such as media carriers, cooling elements, point extraction systems, or shelving systems. This allows the available space to be used optimally, as the ceiling grid can be adapted to all room conditions (columns, height differences, architectural features, etc.).
The Dimensions ceiling truss makes it easy to move or reposition media columns. This ensures that the laboratory remains adaptable at all times. In combination with Waldner media carriers, sockets, connections, and fittings can be placed exactly where they are needed – directly at the workstation or test setup. In addition, partition walls, wall cabinets, and shelves can be mounted under the ceiling yoke – for an infrastructure that can be expanded quickly and modularly.
The Lab Service Unit's utilities are routed along the table axes via a support structure, providing several connection blocks for gas, water, and electricity per table axis. The integrated supply and exhaust air system ensures draft-free air exchange, while the lighting provides the defined LUX output. Service modules can be mounted directly on the support structure and moved in line with the table axis. In addition, a partition wall system can be connected, allowing room sizes to be flexibly adjusted.

Waldner electrical installations supply rooms, areas, and zones with power and data lines and enable flexible connections. The power supply for all areas is guaranteed and overload is reliably prevented thanks to the needs-based and standard-compliant design of the electrical installations. Solutions for an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) provide additional security. Work areas can be used to their full potential and devices can be optimally deployed and operated.
Our plumbing installations ensure flexible distribution of gas and water throughout the rooms and provide individual supply to consumers, workstations, and equipment. Waldner plumbing installations allow for freedom of planning, economical use of space, and individual solutions for area design. Technical gases, high-purity gases, and water are available in every room, area, and zone in the appropriate dimensions and quality. The planning is checked for collisions, allows for maximum flexibility in a small space, and can be integrated into all common BIM systems.
