CJ Corporation is one of the largest companies in South Korea. With the aim of concentrating its research work, particularly in the R&D divisions of pharmaceutical products, biotechnology and food, in one location, the company built a new building complex in Suwon, 48 kilometres south of Seoul - the CJ Blossom Park.
CJ wanted to create a dynamic working environment that would break down the walls between disciplines, blur the boundaries between development and commercialisation, overcome geographical boundaries and ultimately bring about a change in the approach to research.
The ideas and customised products were implemented in close cooperation with the customer. Over 7,000 square metres of laboratories were created in just 10 months. The special feature: a completely free area design without fixed points. The prerequisite for this is the ceiling grid and our media carriers. This makes flexible meeting islands in the laboratory a reality and the research work can be adapted to the respective order at any time.
