No nasty surprises: our advance setup of your system

The FAT – Factory Acceptance Test – is a central component of our quality assurance process. Before your system is delivered to you, we assemble it completely at Waldner and test it under real conditions. Together with you, we test functions, processes and user interfaces – so that you won't encounter any surprises during on-site commissioning.
The FAT is more than just a technical test. It is your opportunity to experience, evaluate and approve your system live – before it is integrated into your production environment.

Your advantages with Fat

Complete assembly at our factory

Every system, regardless of size and complexity – whether isolator, process or cooking system – is completely assembled and tested at our premises in Wangen.

Joint review with you

You are there on site, experience your plant in operation and can give direct feedback.

Icon Touchpoint

Early error prevention

Requests for changes or optimisations can be implemented much more easily and cost-effectively in the factory than later on the construction site. This means there are no delays.

Documented quality

All tests are documented and incorporated directly into your qualification documents (IQ/OQ).

Production hall with stainless steel components

What is tested during the FAT?

  • Mechanical integrity, dimensional accuracy and quality of workmanship
  • Functionality of valves, pumps, agitators, scales
  • Control and automation (including recipe sequences)
  • Ventilation technology and temperature control
  • Safety functions (e.g. pressure behaviour, emergency shutdown)
  • CIP cleaning with riboflavin test

Skid construction – for quick assembly and FAT advantages

Our systems are manufactured using a modular skid design. This means:

  • Pre-assembled units on stainless steel frames
  • Pre-tested piping, instrumentation and control systems
  • Quick disassembly for transport
  • Efficient reassembly at your site

This approach saves you valuable time during commissioning and significantly reduces the effort required for qualification and validation.
