Supply Chains and Responsibility
A STRONG PARTNERSHIP.
WITH TRANSPARENCY AND ACCOUNTABILITY THROUGHOUT THE VALUE CHAIN.
A reliable supply chain is the foundation of many of our projects. Whether it’s laboratory or school equipment, a packaging line, or a processing plant, the quality and reliability of our solutions are directly linked to the performance of our suppliers.
This interdependence works both ways: We rely on stable supply relationships, while our suppliers, in turn, rely on a predictable, fair client.
When we consciously shape this interdependence, it results in a partnership that provides stability for both sides.
In the upstream sector, we source raw materials such as steel, aluminum, plastics, and PEFC-certified wood-based materials. We give preference to local and regional procurement markets—this shortens transportation distances and reduces our dependence on individual markets.
New suppliers sign the WALDNER Code of Conduct for Suppliers before the partnership begins. We are gradually bringing existing suppliers on board.
“Lasting change can only come about through a shared commitment.”

In accordance with the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act, we are continuously improving the protection of human rights in our global supply chain. An internal team is responsible for monitoring compliance with legal requirements. Using the Osapiens service platform, we regularly monitor and evaluate our suppliers and conduct an annual risk assessment.
To comply with our legal due diligence obligations, we provide a confidential complaint procedure through the Osapiens platform. This complaint procedure allows individuals to report potential violations of human rights or environmental obligations within our supply chain. All reports received will be treated confidentially. The procedure is open to anyone who wishes to report such issues.
