ACTING RELIABLY
THROUGH CLEAR RULES AND BINDING STANDARDS.

For us, legal provisions and regulatory standards are more than just mandatory requirements. As a matter of principle, we set ethical standards for ourselves that go beyond legal requirements. Trust is built not through promises, but through transparent actions.

Code of Conduct

Corporate governance at WALDNER is based on clear values such as responsibility, respect, and conscious, sustainable action. Our Code of Conduct, which has been in effect for all employees worldwide since 2025, sets clear standards for ethical conduct, fair business practices, and the protection of human rights and the environment.

Responsible corporate governance does not end at our company’s boundaries. Our business partners are also subject to the Supplier Code of Conduct, which includes requirements regarding human rights, fair working conditions, and environmental and social standards.

GIVE GUIDANCE AND TAKE RESPONSIBILITY

An open corporate culture requires that concerns about potential violations can be raised. Through our whistleblower system, reports can be submitted confidentially and, if desired, anonymously—either through the internal system or to a direct supervisor. Reports are reviewed, and specific actions are taken in response.

Data Protection

We take the protection of personal data very seriously and process it exclusively in accordance with applicable laws, in particular the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR) and the country-specific implementing laws that apply to us. Our Privacy Policy provides comprehensive information about the processing of personal data.

Information Security and Cyber Defense

The goal is to identify risks early on and implement appropriate measures to protect information, processes, and digital infrastructure. A comprehensive cybersecurity policy and an Information Security Management System (ISMS) support us in this effort.

Cyberattacks pose a growing risk, as they can jeopardize production processes, customer data, and critical infrastructure—particularly through phishing attacks targeting employees. Through training and practical exercises, we raise awareness of digital risks; technical protective measures are continuously refined.

Our Goals

  • Cybersecurity by 2028
At least 80% of employees should have demonstrated awareness of phishing attacks. Target metrics: Click-through rate on phishing simulations no higher than 8%; reporting rate of at least 30%.
  • Sustainability in Management and Decision-Making
We aim to embed sustainability goals more deeply into our decision-making structures—in risk assessment, strategic planning, and, going forward, in executive compensation as well. After all, goals that are not reflected in decisions have no real impact.
