Waldner realises lighthouse project in Kyrgyzstan
The Akylman Presidential School is the first visible result of the German-Kyrgyz cooperation - and an impressive one. Waldner planned and equipped state-of-the-art laboratories for chemistry, biology, computer science and robotics. The project sets new standards for future-orientated education in Central Asia and underlines Waldner's leading role in the field of innovative laboratory concepts.
The opening ceremony in May 2025 took place in the presence of high-ranking government representatives, including the Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration and the Minister of Education of Kyrgyzstan. Jochen Früh also gave an official speech. During the visit, strategic discussions were also held on the next phase: the modernisation of laboratories at five leading Kyrgyz universities.

Education as a bridge between nations

Special thanks go to Dr Gabriela Guellil, the German ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, who actively supported the initiative from the outset, helped organise numerous discussions and also attended the school's opening ceremony.
This project exemplifies the power of education as a bridge between nations and once again cements Waldner's international reputation for quality, innovation and partnership. We are proud to be part of this success story - and are looking forward to the next chapters.
